Preorders: Online and in store preorders must be paid in full when your order is processed, this cannot be cancelled, no exceptions will be made.  We will contact you when your item is available or if there is an issue with receiving the item.  For in person preorders, please know your items full name and toy line (ex. Figma, SH Figuarts, gunpla etc.) of the item.

Preorders FYI:  Releases of preorder items can be delayed or moved up. Wholesalers occasionally put restrictions on the number of preorders for extremely popular items, in which case we would be unable to deliver the items to every customer. Sales prices and specifications can differ from those initially planned.  If production is cancelled we will provide a full refund.  

If you cancel or do not pick up your preorder items, you will not be able to place preorders in store or online in the future.  We do not order a number of items we place on preorder.  Thank you for understanding.

Rewards Programs:

Online Customers Points: 

You may have noticed a new tab on the bottom left corner of our site.  That because we are now using a Rewards Program!  For every dollar you spend you earn 1 point.  At 500 points you earn $5.00, 1000 points-$10.00, 2500 points-$25.00. Points are redeemable online OR at Nakama Toys storefront.  

In-store customers:

Punch card: Each visit where you spend at least $10 earns you a punch on your digital card. When your punch card is filled you earn $10 off your next purchase.  Limit one punch per transaction.  To keep track we will ask you to enter your phone or email after each transaction. Please enter the SAME information each visit to ensure your punches are tracked properly.   Rewards are redeemable in store only. 


We ship both domestic and international

Domestic Orders:  Shipping is free for orders over 100 dollars.  For all other domestic orders it will be $7.00.  We will be using USPS priority or Fed Ex.  All orders will come with a tracking number.  

International Orders: We use USPS Priority Mail international on all orders which takes 6-8 days.  For international customers only we offer hold Boxes.  International orders may show delivered before they are scanned by USPS.  Once Scanned they will update the shipping info, this can take 24-48 hours.  Shipping will be charged on all international orders.

Hold Boxes:  For international customers, shipping can be expensive, and you can miss out on small items like trading figures, 1 Figma, and more.  We will now offer hold boxes.  Select hold at checkout and we will hold your items until your total reaches $200 or you request for us to send your items.  You will get an invoice from Paypal for the total exact amount of shipping.

UPDATE:  As of November 10th, the only option for international orders will be priority mail from the US.

NOTE:  International orders marked as possibly fraudulent will not be accepted at this time and will be cancelled immediately.

We Do Not Ship To:  Malaysia

Return Policy:  All items in store and online are final sale.

All blind boxes must be returned in their original (unopened) factory sealed condition.

All Completed Models are sold as is, sales are final. 

Defective items will not be returned or exchanged.  Please contact the respective company for replacement parts.

What is Blind Box or Trading Figure?  A blind box is a type of packaging that hides its contents. Blind boxes are identical in every way.  Each box is a surprise.  PLEASE NOTE:  Unless otherwise noted, all trading figure are for 1 individual item.

Payment Options?  We take all major credit cards including VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER and Paypal.  

What does Nakama mean anyways?  Nakama is Japanese for friends or crew, it was also a Merchant guild in the Edo Era of Japan.

Do you offer Gift Cards?  Yes we do, 10, 25, 50, and 100 dollar increments!

A customer purchases a gift card the same way they purchase any other product from the store.

You will recieve an email that contains contains:

  • The gift card code, used at checkout to redeem the value of the gift card when purchasing a product from the store at a later time;
  • A print button, for obtaining a paper copy of the gift card;
  • An email button, for sharing the gift card with the giftee;
  • A start shopping button, for quickly navigating back to your store.
